Just east of the TCU library and connected to it by an open esplanade is the 62,000 square-foot Rees-Jones Hall.
TCU’s first completely interdisciplinary academic building, it is designed to facilitate creative, intellectual “collisions” that will result in new ideas. Some of the University’s most innovative programs are housed there; the Institute of Child Development with its strong international presence; the Idea Factory which is fostering entrepreneurship outside the business school; and the TCU Energy Institute, which can be a key resource as the nation grapples with issues of energy production.
