Frog Alley Parking Garage
Completion Date: August 2015
Cost: $21.9 million
Construction of this five-deck structure began in December 2014. The facility provides 1,132 parking spots for TCU students, as well as alumni attending special events at the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center, nearly doubling the number of parking spaces available on the old surface lot.
It is located immediately north of Amon G. Carter Stadium and behind the Ranch Management Building that faces Stadium Drive. Patrons enter and exit the garage from Stadium Drive or the northern part of Frog Alley.
The exterior skin of the structure is buff brick, architectural cast stone and steel trim to more closely resemble the look of Amon G. Carter Stadium. There are two elevators, one each on the east and west sides, with an architectural Grand Stair in the center of the garage. LED lighting ensures the safety of the building, along with recording security cameras and a security guard office on the ground floor.
